Description
Day 1. Kokand Travel to Kokand, one of the most fascinating cities of the Fergana Valley.Begin your tour with a visit to the magnificent Khudayar Khan Palace, an architectural masterpiece that reflects the grandeur of the former Kokand Khanate. Continue to the Kamol Kazi Madrasah, one of the city's oldest educational institutions. Next, explore the historic Juma Mosque, renowned for its unique wooden-columned structure, followed by a visit to the Mausoleum of the Khan and his Mother, an important historical and spiritual landmark. Complete your sightseeing in Kokand at the Norbutabiy Madrasah, which has preserved the traditions of Islamic education and the region's rich cultural heritage. Afterward, travel along a scenic route to Bahram Village, where you will visit a Kyrgyz family's carpet-weaving workshop. Discover the ancient art of handmade carpet weaving, learn about traditional techniques, and experience the warm hospitality of local artisans. Day 2. Fergana – Margilan Start the day with a visit to the Usmanov Ceramics Workshop, one of Uzbekistan's most renowned centers of traditional ceramics. Surrounded by beautiful handcrafted pottery, you will learn about the centuries-old techniques and have the opportunity to purchase unique handmade pieces. Continue to the Said Ahmad Khoja Madrasah, one of the finest architectural monuments in the region, admired for its elegant design and intricate decorative patterns. Next, take part in a silk painting master class, where you will witness the fascinating process of transforming silk into a work of art and create your own traditional pattern. After the excursion, enjoy a delicious lunch featuring authentic Uzbek cuisine.
