About me

I was living for many years in the UAE I've lived most of my life here. Being an Arab, I have the advantage to understand the local culture from the perspective of a native. Local guides are hard to find here, that makes my tours so special. During my tours, I like to introduce and explain our heritage, culture, and lifestyle. I tend to focus on the experience, and that's what adds a special value and makes the visit unforgettable. With me, you will explore UAE through the eyes of an Arabic while I explain about our culture, behavior, and traditions. My guests are always encouraged to ask questions about those parts of our culture that are considered private "taboo": I believe this helps to eliminate prejudices about a different culture. I have worked as a site guide in some of the traditional festival held in Abu Dhabi like Liwa Dates Festival, Al dhafra Camels Festival, Mirfa Water Sports Festival and more, because I believe that these events are designed and developed for locals and it's a perfect opportunity to get to mingle with locals and experience the true Emirati lifestyle. UAE it's a new country that has changed a lot since the oil exploration in the 1950's and that created a unique overlapping between the Bedouin culture and the modern life style. The population here consists of more than 200 nationalities where each adds to the culture creating a mosaic blend of cultures that worth a deep look to how the cultures here mix and live in coexistence. whether you are looking to a building, mosque, fort or a beach in every place here there is a unique fascinating story to tell.
