Dr. Somayeh Flahaty is an instructor. Dr. Flahaty has conducted extensive research and activities in the field of geology. She has published one book and some articles related to geology. Not only is Dr. Flahaty deeply involved in geological activities and research, but she is also highly interested in geotourism, and management and conservation of geological landscapes in the form of geoparks. By completing geotourism courses, she has obtained a geotourism card and is currently engaged in many activities in this field. She holds a Ph.D. and a master's degree in petrology, as well as a bachelor's degree in geology from Isfahan University, Iran.
